Subject: Re: COACH JIM SIVERT
Coach Sivert is now at home recuperating and appears to be doing well.
However, his wife, Jackie, is now in the hospital due to a fall that
occured while he was in the hospital.

I spoke with Coach Sivert this morning and he said that they were still
running test and that it looked like she would be in there for a while.
Will try to keep you updated.

Goodbye, Memphis Technical High School;
hello, "Comprehensive Pupil Services Center."
Tech will close at the end of the school year
and reopen in the fall as a special facility for pregnant students,
students with behavior problems and special education students
interested in vocational classes under a plan approved last night by
the city school board. The board approved the controversial proposal
6-3, despite attempts by board member Rickey Peete to prevent the
action and protests by area residents who fear "problem students" will
cause trouble.
