I have learned that our missing classmate Lila Lipscomb Cope passed away on November 25, 2010. Her daughter, Diane Wright e-mailed me her Mom's info, and it was wonderful. Her family has our sympathy.

Hope all is well with everyone. Bill and I were out of touch for over a month. Hurricane Irene put a tree on/in our house and we were relocated to a motel for over a month. Well, I was in a motel and Bill was in rehab as he had had a hip replacement. We sort of skipped Sept and Oct. All is back to normal now, I think

To all my classmates, Merry Christmas. Thanks for returning your info sheet, with a child or family members name for my records. You have made things much easier. We receive praise all the time, because people can't believe that we send birthday cards and give memorials in the name of a deceased class member. Remember, we are one in a million. God Bless.

Bill: I sent a mail yesterday to Gene Gill and copied you, paying a compliment to him and as well to you for your running our class website. You are doing a great job and taking a lot of time to bring us along. Thank you for your service and meticulousness of care regaring every aspect of the site. Thanks also to Candy and the Sunshine committee for also doing a thankless job, and investing their time, energy and devotion to keeping everyone connected. Thanks again gang, great job by all. jERRy

Hi CLassmates, when you received or are to receive your birthday card, there was a form included in it. Some of you have taken the time to return them and some of you have not. What we are asking for is the name of SOMEONE, outside your house we can contact, a child, family member, or friend, in case we lose contact with you. The Sunshine Committee has worked hard on these records, and we would like to have them as up-to-date as possible. If you have info on another classmate you think we don't have, PLEASE pass that on as well.

I didn't go to Tech but I had a lot of friends that went there. I went to SouthSide High School in 1957. I just wanted to comment on what a great site you have. Very well put together.
